Our Client, a reputable information services business are recruiting a brand new role within their service department after significant growth across the last two years. They are looking for a legally qualified Employment Law Solicitor to join their Advisory team, providing HR and Employment Law advice to a wide variety of clients.

We are looking for a bright, confident, legally qualified individual, with employment law experience, to work in a dynamic team, providing legal advice, in all aspects of Employment Law in order to support individual needs of clients. Advice will predominantly provided over the phone and via email.

This role provides great growth opportunity, with it being the first of its kind within the organisation. Working from recently refurbished offices in Blackfriars, the role will be office based.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • To provide clients with legally compliant and commercial advice to clients predominantly on Settlement Agreements, Commercial Queries, Data Protection, as well as employment law querying including gross misconduct, SOSR, TUPE, grievances alleging discrimination, multiple redundancies and absence management.
  • To work in line with the departmental KPI's, ensuring support is provided to clients in a productive manner with quality sound advice and within set SLA's.
  • To ensure that personal knowledge of employment law and HR best practice is continually updated.
  • To advise, assist and guide clients with all employment law enquiries received.
  • To provide/guide clients with/to supporting information/documentation to assist them in the advice provided
  • Attend legal briefings and internal company training to ensure that advice provided is compliant with services.
  • Assist the Head of Service with complaints and service issues.
  • Attend departmental or office team meetings.
  • Work as part of a busy team and carry out any other tasks deemed necessary by the Management Team.
  • To ensure you are fully updated on products and additional services to drive referrals and engagement with other services which aids retention.
