We are currently working with a market leading ALSP that is keen to speak with German speaking Commercial Lawyers who would be available for a 6 month secondment assignment to a consumer company in London. Candidates must be able to read, speak, and draft in German to a proficient business standard. The assignment is due to start ASAP, and can be undertaken remotely. Whilst the role can be undertaken remotely, Lawyers must be based in England, Wales and/or Scotland.
The successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate:
- Qualification as a Solicitor. Applications from those who are qualified in Germany, England & Wales (or another commonwealth jurisdiction) are encouraged.
- A wealth of experience in handling a full commercial caseload.
- Experience gained with a notable international, city or ranked law firm, or busy in-house legal team.
- German language skills are imperative. The ability to read, speak (confidently negotiate contract terms), and draft in German to a proficient business standard (as a minimum), is required.
- The ability to start a new role immediately or at short notice.
- The ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.
Due to the desired start date, candidates are likely to be available immediately or at short notice.
