Convex is looking for a highly motivated and talented Graduate Trainee to join our dynamic Legal Team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate who is eager to gain practical experience while training to qualify as a solicitor through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). The successful candidate will work closely with experienced lawyers, gaining exposure to various areas of law including Corporate, Commercial, Wordings and Claims Litigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough legal research on diverse topics related to insurance law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyse and summarise legal documents, case law, and statutes.
  • Stay updated on legal trends and developments impacting the insurance sector.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare legal correspondence, memos, and reports.
  • Handle enquiries and provide initial legal advice under supervision.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal presentations and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Work towards completing the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) alongside daily responsibilities.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
