An excellent opportunity has arisen for a competent Housing Management Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE to join this highly prestigious award winning law firm based in the heart of West London.
You will be working within a team of 8 in the well established Housing Legal Aid Team and will be responsible for the following duties:
- To provide comprehensive advice and representation in matters relating to homelessness, disrepair, injunction proceedings and unlawful evictions.
- To deal effectively with leasehold disputes and Rent Repayment disputes.
- To manage your own caseload dealing with Injunction and Committal proceedings.
- To manage all files in compliance with SQM requirements.
- Competent in the use of legal case management systems.
- To possess excellent communication and organisational skills
My client is looking for a solicitor or caseworker who is well versed in dealing with all aspects of Housing related casework. Sound working knowledge of the legal aid system is essential, as is a dedicated commitment to providing access to justice through legal aid.
As you will be representing vulnerable clients, the ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion is crucial.
