We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Immigration Solicitor to join our client a specialist immigration law firm based in the City of London.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of immigration law and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of the immigration system. You will provide excellent and tailored assistance to high profile clients on their immigration obligations to ensure compliance with the Home Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation in all areas of immigration law, including but not limited to visas, citizenship, asylum and deportation defence.
- Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions and supporting documentation.
- Represent clients in hearings before immigration tribunals and courts.
- Stay up to date with changes in immigration laws and policies.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about their cases and managing their expectations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Qualified solicitor with a valid practice certificate
- Minimum of 3 years experience within immigration law
- Strong knowledge of immigration regulations and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work under pressure
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in legal research and use of legal databases
- Commitment to providing high quality client service
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with vulnerable clients
- Familiarity with immigration law software and case management systems
The salary for this position is between £45,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
