What does this In-House Associate Solicitor role entail?

This won't be your typical in-house role, as this isn't your typical company. Operating on a very close-knit basis with little focus on hierarchy, they value the opinions of each individual, and as a result, they consider communication and confidence to be extremely important.

Their legal team are after an assertive and dynamic lawyer to join their ranks and reap the benefits of working collaboratively by learning from one another. In return, you will gain an insight into the ever-changing energy industry and become a part of the transitioning energy sphere in the UK through this company's power plant regeneration and development schemes.

This is the ideal opportunity for a talented legal professional to carve out an exciting career for themselves, with a broad and varied workload and without the binaries of traditional private practice work.

This In-House Associate Solicitor role will require:

Collaborating with colleagues: working across the team in a supporting role, ready to get involved in any given project that the legal team is working on.

A mindset of learning and development: demonstrating a desire to learn from your team and upskill yourself at any available opportunity.

Ideally, experience in energy or infrastructure, or experience in a relative area that may be applicable to a company operating and developing power plants across the UK and Ireland.

Dynamic stakeholder engagement: working with individuals at all levels of the business, including the CEO, to support any legal matters within your remit.

A confident attitude: the ability to assert yourself and process criticism if necessary, and the ambition to envision yourself progressing with this company.

If you're intrigued by the idea of changing your career for the better and immersing yourself in a team that values expertise over binary and hierarchy, let us know.
