This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer with a financing background to join this in-house team on a permanent basis. This role will be well suited to someone keen to transition to a broader mix of work.
Our client are looking for a qualified lawyer, either qualified in the UK or another common law country, to join their team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have had some exposure to finance law, and asset finance would be the most obvious choice; but our client is very open minded and willing to consider candidates with transferable experience.

The role itself will be a mix of work including the following:
- the negotiation and preparation of contracts to facilitate all aspects of our business (with a particular focus on the purchase, leasing and maintenance of assets, the provision of third party asset management services, intra-group agreements and external financing arrangements);
- identifying risks and liabilities, suggesting appropriate mitigations and ensuring that key issues are properly considered as part of our approval processes;
- understanding and advising on relevant regulatory, legal and contractual requirements of the business, for example with respect to UK Competition Law, Health and Safety, industry related legislation, Intellectual Property, Data Protection, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Modern Slavery, corporate offences and anti-money laundering legislation, including provision of training to the business in relevant areas, as and when required;
- reviewing and/or drafting general contracts relating to the business, for example, in relation to IT services, office premises, marketing and HR;
