We are looking for a lawyer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts, including service and goods supply agreements, sponsorships with partners, marketing agreements, media buying, IT agreements for software licensing and development, data and content supply, and other commercial partnerships;

  • Conduct global research and monitoring to ensure the business remains informed and compliant with emerging gaming industry regulations and legal requirements;

  • Advising on contract interpretation and developing strategies for and resolving major claims and disputes;

  • Monitoring and evaluating new UK laws and regulations on the online safety of digital content;

  • Stay informed about the latest developments and regulations from the Gambling Commission to ensure compliance and strategic alignment in all contracts;

  • Draft and thoroughly review bespoke and non-standard contracts and addenda, offering support throughout the negotiation process to secure favorable terms in all commercial agreements;

  • Collaborate with team members to propose, develop, and implement enhancements to our operational and contracting processes, aiming for increased efficiency and effectiveness;

  • Collaborating with regulatory and litigation lawyers, game studios, and communications teams on regulatory matters, policy strategies, external communications, and investigations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years UK-qualified lawyer in a regulatory legal compliance role from a well-regarded private practice team or established in-house department;

  • Demonstrated expertise across various aspects of the iGaming industry;

  • Experience in advising on laws related to online and mobile gaming, consumer protection, e-commerce, and user-generated content, such as the Digital Services Act in the EU and the Online Safety Act in the UK, and more;

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong presentation abilities;

  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload while effectively engaging with multiple stakeholders;

  • Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting tight deadlines;

  • A positive, enthusiastic, and approachable demeanor.
