- Provide legal advice on contracting, procurement, and risk management.
- Draft and negotiate contracts when required.
- Advise on compliance, brand protection, and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to manage legal risks and improve governance processes.
- Maintain a contracts register and support legal compliance programmes.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a solicitor or barrister (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and contract law in the charity sector.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with regulatory compliance in the charity / NPO sector.
- Collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
