Are you an exceptional Legal Services Manager with a background in litigation? Our client, a leading organisation in the housing industry, is seeking a passionate and experienced Legal Services Manager to join their in-House legal team. With a strong focus on providing high-quality legal advice and services, their organisation strives to make a positive impact in the communities they serve.

As the Legal Services Manager, you will provide high quality legal advice on litigation related matters with a particular focus on housing management, and landlord and tenant contentious matters. You will be instrumental in drafting legal proceedings, witness statements and pleadings.

This is a truly exciting opportunity to work in collaboration to shape the Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) workstream delivery, a business-critical area that primarily focuses on tackling ASB, which has a significant impact on residents' lives. You will develop a specialist understanding of the law, regulatory framework, and internal policy in the ASB workstream. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, you will develop tools, precedents, and ensure consistent and excellent service delivery. Providing training to the Legal Services team and other colleagues within our client's organisation will also be part of your responsibilities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience of undertaking housing management litigation casework, particularly for housing associations or other public sector bodies.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing training to other lawyers and clients on housing law and litigation.
  • Have a thorough understanding of legal processes, Housing and Landlord and Tenant law.
  • Experience in developing and implementing processes and procedures within housing management litigation or contentious property legal work.
  • Qualified solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive.
