A widely respected P&I Club seek a Claims Executive to join their growing team.You will provide claims handling assistance to the team within all aspects of P&I and FDD operations and in accordance with company Claims Handling and Defence (FDD) Instructions and routines.The successful applicant will have relevant work experience at a law firm or P&I Club and will ideally be an England and Wales Qualified Solicitor (Preferably 2-3 years PQE). This will be a hybrid role. Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide research and assistance for high quality and clear legal advice to Members and Clients, and to manage their claims efficientlyOffer support and assistance in cases of high complexity or large exposureHelp build strong relationships with Members and Brokers. Assist with promoting the company in the market and participate in marketing efforts. Actively participate in seminars, gatherings and events.Suggest and initiate measures designed to increase cost-efficiency in FDD claims handling.Stay up to date on legal developments specifically relevant to FD&D.Provide general legal assistance to the Business Unit (underwriting - for ex. clauses and contracts - and claims).
