My client is seeking a Newly Qualified Private Client Solicitor to join our thriving London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to begin their career in private client law, handling a varied and interesting caseload of high-net-worth clients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting senior solicitors with a range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate planning, and probate.
  • Advising clients on tax-efficient strategies for wealth management, inheritance tax planning, and the administration of estates.
  • Drafting legal documents such as wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision, providing practical and tailored advice to clients.
  • Liaising with beneficiaries, executors, trustees, and other third parties, ensuring the smooth administration of estates and trusts.
  • Conducting legal research to support senior solicitors in complex matters and keeping up to date with changes in private client law.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with clear, concise, and empathetic advice.
Requirements:
  • Newly Qualified Solicitor with up to 1-year PQE, ideally with a private client seat during your training contract.
  • A solid understanding of private client law, including wills, trusts, and probate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing your workload.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to client care.
  • Familiarity with private client software and Microsoft Office.
