Job Title: Private Family Solicitor - Central LondonExperience Level: 5+ Years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE)

Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Private Family Solicitor to join a prestigious law firm based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled solicitor with a proven track record in private family law to further their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, prenuptial agreements, and cohabitation disputes.
  • Advising high-net-worth individuals on complex family law issues with sensitivity and discretion.
  • Conducting legal research and drafting comprehensive documents, including statements, agreements, and court applications.
  • Representing clients in court and at alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation or arbitration.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships while providing clear, practical, and strategic advice.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards in line with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years PQE in private family law within a reputable firm.
  • Demonstrable expertise in managing complex family law cases, particularly involving high-net-worth clients.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973, Children Act 1989, and related statutory instruments.
  • Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and communication skills.
  • A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Membership in Resolution or a similar family law organization is desirable.
  • Experience with international family law cases or cross-border issues is a plus.
