I am looking for a dedicated Professional Support Lawyer to join a Market Affairs team, providing legal and market support to an Insurance Segment within this business. Reporting to the Business Change, Knowledge & Market Affairs Director and your Segment Head, you will play a key role in promoting and enhancing legal services and market expertise both internally and externally.Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively assist our lawyers in raising external profile and promoting our expertise.
  • Lead the promotion and recognition of our legal services in the market.
  • Conduct market awareness research, identifying key trends and future developments within the next 3 years.
  • Write articles and thought leadership reports on pertinent changes and trends.
  • Coordinate and draft responses to industry consultations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with professional bodies, organisations, and focus groups.
  • Provide training on legal, regulatory, and market awareness developments.
  • Develop and deliver annual legal and market awareness training plans, and manage ‘new starter’ inductions for your segment.
  • Collaborate with teams such as Data Services, Product & Innovation, and Marketing to ensure we collect and utilise data effectively to identify trends and insights.
  • Propose use cases for new technology and tools that could benefit our clients.
  • Offer legal and technical advice, research, and market support.
  • Maintain and enhance the firm's knowledge resources, writing guidance notes, updating templates, and promoting best practices.
  • Collaborate with other PSLs and key stakeholders to ensure access to the right library resources.
  • Support various projects as needed, including promoting adherence to taxonomies and information classification.
  • Maintain your own professional development and stay informed about market and legal changes.
