Our client, a prominent regulatory body in the professional services sector, is looking for an experienced Regulatory Lawyer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional with advocacy experience to make a significant impact in a fast-paced regulatory environment.

As a Regulatory Lawyer, you will:

  • Represent the organisation in fitness to practise hearings and related proceedings
  • Manage the preparation and presentation of complex cases, ensuring high standards and timely resolution
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth case progression
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior legal colleagues, including Paralegals
  • Contribute to the development of legal policies and procedures within the organisation
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and regulatory best practices

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 3 years’ PQE as a Solicitor or Barrister (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in legal advocacy and case management within a regulatory context
  • Ability to handle sensitive, complex cases with professionalism and confidence
  • Experience working with fitness to practise procedures or similar regulatory processes
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload while ensuring quality and timeliness
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
  • A proactive approach to legal supervision and development of junior team members
