Service Care Legal is recruiting for a Residential Conveyancing & Compliance Officer for a London Borough Council.
The role offers a salary of £25.00 to £30.00 per hour LTD, depending on experience and interview performance.
This is a 6-month contract requiring 36 hours of work per week, with office attendance required 2 days a week.
Candidates must be qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives, or Licensed Conveyancers with a current practising certificate and at least three years of relevant experience.
Experience with local authority disposals is essential for this position.

Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Residential Conveyancing & Compliance Officer to join their team. Please find below further details with regards to the role.ROLE: Residential Conveyancing & Compliance OfficerLOCATION: LondonRATE: £25.00 to £30.00 per hour LTD (DOE and interview performance)CONTRACT: 6 months, 36 hours per weekPlease note that this would require office attendance 2 days per week.The Role

To work in a team delivering of homeowner policies ranging from ad hoc sales of land to permissions for alterations
Ensuring that homeowners are compliant with lease and freehold transfer requirements.
Provides operational support for the delivery of the Council’s policies relating to specific types of disposal and acquisition of council homes. T
To also provide professional residential conveyancing advice and monitoring transactions carried out by external solicitors.

The Person

A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with a current practising certificate
Proven relevant equivalent experience of residential conveyancing practice and procedures in a similar role for at least three years,
Experience with respect to local authority disposals would also be essential
