Exciting opportunity for a Residential Development Solicitor (Senior Associate) to join a Legal 500 ranked department at a top 70 law firm.

The firm

Our client is a highly reputable full-service law firm based in Central London with almost 200 Solicitors operating out of one location.

The firm have an impressive client base, including household names in the development sector, major corporates and institutions, and entrepreneurial enterprises that are often privately owned or private equity backed.

Their Real Estate department have established themselves as leading advisors in their field. They are well respected and consistently ranked by the Legal Directories.

The Role

The successful Residential Development Solicitor will join our client's Residential Development team, which sits within the wider Real Estate department. The role is Senior Associate level and will involve working side-by-side with Partners and prominent developer clients.

The work will involve:

  • Landlord and tenant transactions for developers
  • Site acquisitions and disposals
  • Dealing with property aspects for financing transactions
  • Subsales and TOGCS
  • Option agreements

In addition to fee earning, the successful candidate will engage in business development, and supervise/support juniors in the team.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years' PQE working as a Residential Development Solicitor
  • Ability to drive and develop long standing client relationships
  • Attention to detail with the ability to perform in a deadline orientated role
  • Excellent business development and client management skills
