Our client is a reputable West End law firm seeking the assistance of a confident and capable residential property Lawyer for a contract of 3 months in duration. The role is to start in March/April and is anticipated to run for 3 months, but there is potential for further extension.

The successful individual can expect to work on a broad caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold, leasehold, new builds and re-mortgages.

Due to the nature of the requirement, the successful individual will need to be able to handle transactions from instruction to completion with minimal supervision and be able to act as a trusted advisor to clients, including High Net Worth individuals. There will be supervision and guidance available from a Partner within the team. The firm offers a collaborative and friendly environment to work in.

Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:

  • 2+ years' PQE (or CILEX qualified with appropriate experience) in England & Wales
  • Experience in handling a full and varied residential property caseload and exposure to managing client relationships
  • Experience gained from notable London or regional firms
  • The ability to handle transactions independently, with minimal supervision
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • A personable, proactive and 'can do' approach
  • The ability to start a new role within March/April
  • A genuine desire to join a firm on a contract basis

The firm is based in London's West End and operates on a hybrid working basis. The successful individual can expect to spend 2 days a week in the office, although this may be more during the initial onboarding period.
