About the Role:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Solicitor to join our dynamic and forward-thinking legal team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with a passion for property law to contribute to a broad range of residential conveyancing matters in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Conduct title reviews, draft and review contracts, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to progress transactions efficiently.
  • Handle enquiries and provide tailored legal advice to clients to ensure seamless progression of matters.
  • Conduct searches and investigations, preparing comprehensive reports on title.
  • Support the team in the preparation of legal documents, including deeds and agreements.
  • Stay updated on changes in property law and regulations to maintain compliance and advise clients appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 6 months of post-qualification experience (PQE) in residential property law.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using case management systems and legal research tools.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to collaborate with team members.

Preferred:

  • Experience in managing high-value or complex residential transactions is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with lease extensions, enfranchisements, or new-build properties.
