Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to lead the Organization's Civil Litigation practice and deliver exceptional legal counsel to clients. The Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer role is critical in shaping our litigation strategies, managing complex cases, and mentoring junior team members. The Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer will play a key role in providing the highest quality of service to clients engaged in civil disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Expertise: Provide expert legal advice on a comprehensive range of civil litigation matters, including contractual disputes, personal injury claims, property disputes, and professional negligence.
  • Case Management: Oversee and manage complex litigation cases, ensuring adherence to deadlines, effective strategy implementation, and successful outcomes for clients.
  • Client Interactions: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, conducting consultations, addressing concerns, and communicating effectively throughout the legal process.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior solicitors and paralegals, fostering their professional development and ensuring high standards of legal practice within the team.
  • Document Preparation: Oversee the drafting and review of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Marketing and Business Development: Contribute to the firm’s growth by actively participating in marketing initiatives, networking events, and community outreach to promote our civil litigation services.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Qualified Solicitor specializing in Civil Litigation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and maintain a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, with a proven track record in civil litigation cases.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills for effective interactions with clients, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficient in legal research tools, case management software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen attention to detail in handling complex litigation matters.
