About the Senior Homelessness and Civil Litigation role:

Sellick Partnership are working with a well-regarded London Borough council to recruit a Homelessness and Civil Litigation Lawyer to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is seeking a qualified lawyer who is a specialist in homelessness with experience carrying a busy caseload of housing matters.

The successful Senior Homelessness and Civil Litigation Lawyer will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the management department as well as line managing around 4 legal professionals
  • Providing high level legal advice on homelessness to the council as well as handling a mixed bag of civil litigation matters
  • Assisting in managing a customer focused service and the effective use of resources
  • Attending and giving advice in committees
  • Dealing with complex casework and conducting litigation arising in the area of responsibility
