Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel specialising in Dispute Resolution to join their team. This is a flexible, remote role with ad hoc travel to the offices required. Applicants will be UK-qualified Solicitor with a minimum of eight years PQE in managing complex commercial disputes and litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Disputes & Litigation: Manage a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including contract and general commercial disputes.
  • Data Protection Disputes: Advise on data protection-related disputes, providing guidance for compliance and resolution.
  • Debt Recovery & Claims Management: Oversee debt recovery initiatives and claims, ensuring effective risk mitigation.
  • External Counsel Management: Collaborate with panel firms and outside counsel to align with the company's legal strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across the business, communicating complex legal issues clearly and effectively.

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Solicitor with 8 plus years PQE in Dispute Resolution, with an In-House or Private Practice background
  • Proven expertise in general commercial disputes ideally having handled contract disputes, data protection issues, debt recovery, and claims management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, excellent attention to detail, and a personable approach.

Additional Advantage:

  • Commercial Contracts: Any experience in general commercial contracts in the technology sector would be highly beneficial.
