Senior Legal Counsel

Salary - £90,000 - £100,000 per annum
Location: London - hybrid working available
Our client, an innovative and ambitious provider of managed communications, cloud, and IT solutions are looking to add a Senior Legal Counsel to their existing legal team.
Act as a senior legal advisor and strategic business partner, providing proactive advice on a wide range of commercial and legal matters including:
- Provide expert legal advice on areas including commercial contracts, telecommunications law, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, intellectual property, and dispute resolution.
- Lead negotiations, drafting, and review of key contracts with suppliers, partners, and clients.
- Support senior leadership by assessing legal and commercial risks associated with strategies, product launches, and expansions.
- Modernise legal processes by developing templates, playbooks, and adopting new technologies.
- Deliver training on key legal topics (e.g., GDPR, Bribery Act) and support the development of junior team members.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified solicitor or barrister with over 5 years PQE and experience in corporate legal teams or private practice, ideally within telecommunications or technology sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen, excellent drafting skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Credible and confident communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in managed services, public sector frameworks, or legal operations
