Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a Senior Legal Project Management Analyst to join one of our global law firm clients at their London office on a permanent, hybrid working basis. This role is pivotal in supporting our clients Legal Project Management team, aiding lawyers in managing the Firm's business and clients through early-stage matter engagement, budgeting, ongoing matter lifecycle support, and reporting to enhance profitability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise Excel, PowerBI, Smartsheet, and other tools to manage, track, and analyse data.
  • Implement matter management workflows to ensure diligent monitoring and drive profitability.
  • Communicate with directors and Client Operations about notable engagements and matter activity.
  • Assist the London pricing team with data and analytics for accurate estimates and budgets.
  • Prepare internal and external data insight reports.
  • Lead matter management efforts in key practice areas.
  • Participate in meetings with partners regarding matter statuses and billing expectations.
  • Apply financial concepts and problem-solving skills to support strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with Client Operations, Pricing, Knowledge Management, and other Business Services groups.
  • Maintain project trackers and budget repositories.
  • Identify and resolve issues, documenting lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; relevant qualifications/experience desirable.
  • 3-4 years of law firm experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management, legal, financial management, and process improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter, and highly organized.
  • Strong technical acumen, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
