- Develop and manage all property litigation and dispute resolution work.
- Efficiently handle all allocated casework, ensuring high standards and timely completion.
- Maintain regular, clear communication with clients, adhering to client care requirements.
- Stay updated on legal developments, with a particular focus on property litigation.
- Promptly record and bill casework, ensuring accurate payment tracking at case conclusion.
- Manage routine correspondence, negotiations, and advocacy as required.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in other departments to offer integrated services.
- Analyze legal matters and provide clients with informed advice on appropriate courses of action.
- Support the department’s operational efficiency by following office procedures, managing casework, and maintaining accurate billing.
- Provide supervision as needed and report to supervisors as required.
- 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in property litigation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of property litigation, including landlord possession cases, disrepair and tenancy disputes, leasehold matters, and more.
- Advocacy experience in county court or tribunal is advantageous but not essential.
- Proven experience working with private clients and SMEs.
- Excellent client communication skills and a commitment to client care.
- Proven business development skills with a strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and demonstrate problem-solving capabilities.
- High level of IT proficiency and commercial awareness.
- Current Practising Certificate.
