About the job

We have the opportunity for a Change Manager to join our Business Change Management department. You will report to the Head of Business Change Management and will work with leaders, sponsors, and the Business Transformation Group across the portfolio of strategic change, and consult, drive and promote focus on our people so that our resulting delivery plans anticipate and navigate likely impacts. You will lead the approach to people/stakeholders needs and the vision in project planning, including any deliverables to drive adoption / reduce impacts and emotions. For example, training, communications, events.The role includes responsibility for:

  • Identifying potential people-side risks, opportunities, and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
  • Developing a Change Management Strategy based on a thorough understanding of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change.
  • Applying a structured Change Management approach and methodology for the people side of change caused by projects.
  • Developing and communicate a Business Transformation Group Roadmap for Change based on desired changes to Process and on proposed Systems implementations.
  • Developing a methodology and lead change readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Develop a set of actionable and targeted Change Management plans - Including sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, resistance management plan and communication plan.
  • Support the execution of the plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders.
  • Create and manage key performance indicators for change, or appropriate measurement systems to track adoption, utilisation and proficiency of individual changes, all in collaboration with 's PMO and their benefits realisation activities

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process, as well as proven experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies. You will also have familiarity with different project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle, such as Agile and PRINCE II. Demonstrable experience of working across an extensive and diverse network of stakeholders, including Senior/Executive and External Stakeholders is also desirable, as is experience working within insurance and/or the London market.
