Robert Half is supporting a Global Consulting Firm in recruiting an ITSM Project Manager to play a critical role in driving service transition initiatives for a key transformation programme in the hospitality and retail sector. This programme focuses on optimising IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and operational transitions, ensuring seamless service design, transition, and delivery.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Near Bedford, Bedfordshire (Hybrid Working - 2-3 days per week on-site)
• Duration: Initial 6-month contract
• Day Rate: £550-600 p/day via FCSA Accredited umbrella company
• Start Date: Immediate start, with a lead time of c.1-2 weeks for onboarding and technology setup

Experience Required:

• Demonstrated experience in ITSM project management within the hospitality, retail, or FMCG sectors, focusing on service design, transition, and operationalisation.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks, with certifications highly desirable (e.g., ITIL Foundation, Practitioner).
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
• Proven track record in documenting workflows, establishing processes, and implementing RACI frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) and managing physical IT transitions, including site decommissioning, equipment setup, and network migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead ITSM transition activities, ensuring effective service design, transition, and operational delivery for large-scale reconfigurations.
• Act as the central IT liaison, supporting project leads and ensuring seamless communication with business stakeholders.
• Oversee service transition processes, including knowledge transfer, documentation, and operational handover.
• Manage hands-on IT tasks, such as equipment commissioning, physical site transitions, and network migrations.
• Implement RACI frameworks to ensure clear communication and accountability across teams.
• Engage with stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of ITSM frameworks and processes aligned with organisational objectives.
