Reed Talent Professionals are supporting The Metropolitan Police Service in the search for a Project Change Manager to join their team. This role involves working closely with the Business Change and Comms Lead and the wider management team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and implementing change strategies across multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deputise for the Change Lead at meetings and forums, and develop appropriate reports and dashboards as required.
  • Create and manage programme-wide plans for change activities, ensuring strategic alignment and effective prioritisation across multiple projects.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops to identify key stakeholder groups, complete Change Impact Assessments, and conduct Training Needs Analysis.
  • Support the business change lead in building relationships across the organisation to create feedback channels and understand business priorities and adoption.
  • Collaborate with Change Analysts and PMO to ensure timely delivery of information, dashboards, and reports.
  • Help develop and promote a programme ‘brand’ that maintains standards and consistency.
  • Assist in developing assessments for business readiness to ensure all requirements are met before progressing.
  • Address resistance to change through various interventions and support the programme to ensure users are ready for changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Change Management (APMG preferred) or experience in leading and implementing change strategies
  • Train the trainer experience would be very beneficial
  • Ability to think strategically and act operationally, demonstrating a hands-on approach when necessary.
  • Experience in e-learning, AI, web design, and creative methods of reaching large audiences.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects and priorities, with the flexibility to adapt quickly as required.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).
  • Proactive, creative thinker with a robust nature, able to design solutions to problems.
  • Ability to challenge and engage in robust conversations with senior stakeholders regarding competing priorities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to implementing governance and quality checks.
