Transformation Project Manager

Duration: 6 Months

Payrate: £500 per day

Hybrid role - London / home based

This role requires strong project management expertise, an ability to work across teams, and experience delivering change within a large, complex organisation. If you have experience of the following below please apply asap.

  • Delivery: Manage the successful delivery of assigned projects within a transformation programme, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain project plans, defining clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Track progress, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Governance & Reporting: Provide regular updates to Director of Marketing and Programme Managers, sponsors, and senior stakeholders. Ensure accurate reporting of project progress, risks, and financials.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with faculties, departments, and external partners to ensure smooth project execution. Build relationships and manage expectations at all levels.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues, developing mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
  • Resource Coordination: Work with Programme Managers to allocate resources effectively, ensuring that project needs are met while aligning with the overall programme.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to lessons learned, process improvements, and best practices to enhance project and programme delivery.

Skills and abilities

Strong sense of accountability for delivering projects successfully, navigating ambiguity, and ensuring outcomes through flexibility, innovation, and problem-solving.

Proven ability to engage, influence, and work effectively with senior leaders, teams, and external partners to ensure project alignment with organisational priorities.

Skilled at streamlining project processes, removing barriers, and ensuring governance supports efficient project execution.

Ability to operate within project governance frameworks, proactively identifying risks and issues while ensuring clear reporting and accountability.

Strong ability to communicate project objectives, progress, and risks to diverse stakeholders, ensuring clarity and buy-in for project success.

Highly collaborative, able to work with colleagues across different areas to drive project outcomes that align with organisational needs.
