Job Description - Secondary Student Manager - February 2025 - Waltham Forest

  • Monitor and track attendance of all students.
  • Always Maintain a purposeful working environment within Year Group Areas.
  • Maintaining quality and standards, including uniform policy.
  • Counsel students where appropriate.
  • Preparing reports on students required for parent’s interviews, case conferences etc.
  • Ensure a high standard of pastoral student support.
  • Deliver a high quality of support services for student learning across KS3 and 4

Person Specification - Secondary Student Manager

  • Experience of working with young people and a strong knowledge of educational processes at Key Stage 3, 4 or 5 is essential.
  • Ability to build, support and work with teams.
  • Set high standards, be able to prioritise and think creatively to solve problems.
  • Equivalent to A Level education or higher.

Job Package - Secondary Student Manager

  • Point 7 (£25,629) to Point 12 (£27,907)
  • 36 hours per week, 41 weeks per year.
  • Reporting to Assistant Principal.
