We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Behaviour Mentor to join our supportive team at a well-regarded secondary school in Greenwich. This rewarding role will allow you to work closely with students who may need extra guidance to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with students, acting as a trusted mentor and role model.
  • Support students in managing and improving their behaviour, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Work one-to-one or in small groups with students to address behavioural challenges and build resilience.
  • Collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff to develop and implement effective behavioural strategies.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to staff and parents where necessary.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, promoting inclusion and respect.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children (school, youth work, or similar setting).
  • A valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
