The Opportunity:Are you ready to inspire and guide students in a vibrant school setting? LTF Recruitment is seeking proactive Student Support Mentors for a large and dynamic secondary school in Tower Hamlets. Starting in January, this role focuses on mentoring students across Year 7 to Sixth Form, helping them develop positive behaviours, build resilience, and fully engage with their education. The school is known for its forward-thinking approach and its emphasis on teamwork among staff to meet the diverse needs of its students.

Your Role in the School:

  • Be a consistent and approachable mentor for students needing additional behavioural and emotional support
  • Run small group sessions to build skills such as conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and self-esteem
  • Offer targeted 1:1 guidance to help students overcome challenges that may be affecting their learning
  • Work closely with families and staff to create bespoke action plans for individual students
  • Promote a respectful and inclusive environment that celebrates achievements and positive behaviours
  • Assist in planning school initiatives, assemblies, and extracurricular activities that encourage personal growth
