About the RoleWe are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our dedicated team at a secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This role is ideal for someone with experience in mentoring, youth work, or behaviour support who wants to make a real impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students struggling with behaviour and engagement.

Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to develop strategies to support positive behaviour.

Act as a role model, helping students build confidence, resilience, and social skills.

Support the implementation of the school's behaviour policy and assist in managing challenging behaviour.

Help create a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.

Previous experience working with young people in a mentoring, youth work, teaching assistant, or behaviour support role.

A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to de-escalate challenging situations and promote positive behaviour.
