About Us: We are a dedicated education agency collaborating with a reputable Secondary School in Hillingdon, London, to find a Cover Manager/Learning Supervisor. If you are an experienced Cover Supervisor, and have experience working in an office environment, please submit your CV below.
Role Overview: As a Cover Manager/Learning Supervisor, you will manage staff absence and finding cover as and when required, as well as being the main point of contact for Cover Supervisors and covering classes as and when required. This position is ideal for individuals with strong organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage staff absences by reporting them on SIMs, and arranging necessary cover.
- Line Manage 3 Cover Supervisors, conducting annual appraisals, target setting and mid year reviews.
- Supervising classes in staff absence when necessary and delivering pre-set work
Applicants will have:
- Exceptional interpersonal and time management skills.
- Experience working as a Cover Supervisor for a range of subjects.
- Experience using SIMs or Arbor to log and monitor absences.
- Experience having worked in a school environment.
- Capability of working collaboratively with a wide range of people, sometimes within sensitive, confidential and pressurised situations.
- Capability of working independently and show initiative resolving problems.
- Excellent organisational skills, be hardworking and energetic.
