The Role - Learning Mentor

My client is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Learning Mentor to join their fantastic English, Maths and Science departments supporting students studying at KS3-KS4 level in preparation for next year's GCSE's. Candidates are required to help and support students on a one to one basis or small groups, supporting them in the core subjects of Maths, English and Science. The ideal Learning Mentor will have achieved a 2:1 or higher degree in the core subjects of English, Maths and Science, be confident, enthusiastic and have excellent subject knowledge of the KS3-KS4 curriculum.

The school is a large diverse secondary school based in the heart of Newham catering for 1048 students between the ages of 11 - 16, the school have excellent Ofsted and where recently graded as outstanding in all areas. This is a highly successful secondary school most students all come from an affluent area and mainly middle class backgrounds, many of these students will go to Oxbridge universities.
