The role - Learning Mentor - Lambeth

In order to support students in a secondary school who are exhibiting challenging behaviours and to help them become more independent, Teach 360 is looking for an experienced Learning Mentor to support them. During your role as a Behaviour Mentor, you should be able to work directly with pupils in order to provide them with both internal and external support both within the classroom as well as outside of it. Due to the variety of challenging behaviours you may encounter, you will need to be in a position to handle them in a variety of situations, as a result of the wide variety of challenging behaviours you are likely to encounter. In addition to supporting students with challenging behaviour, you may also be working with students who have special needs, such as SEMH or SEN, such that your role includes working in small groups with them or supporting their specific needs in 1 on 1 situations.
