Morgan Hunt are exclusively working with a college based in East London that are looking for Learning Mentors to join their exceptional team.

The college are looking for the Learning Mentors to start ASAP, on a long term full time basis.

About the role:

  • Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri
  • Working Hours: 08:30 - 16:30 8.00hrs

PURPOSE OF JOB:* To work as part of a team supporting learners who have additionallearning needs mainly within our 14-16 provision.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing pupil's behaviour
  • Ensuring students engage with lessons, providing academic support and working under the instruction of the class teacher
  • Helping the students with their life skills

You must:

  • Have experience in an educational setting - preferably a PRU or SEND provision
  • Have previous experience of working with students with ASD, SEMH or as a 1:1 support role
  • Available full time
  • Possess a flexible work ethic be willing to adapt and work to deadlines successfully
  • Have an enhanced DBS that is dated within the last 12 months or is on the update service
