Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays 8am to 4pm, term time only 42.9 weeks
Aston Education is looking for a dynamic Pastoral Manager to join this Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary school in Lewisham, Southeast London.
The school is looking for a Pastoral Manager who will be able to confidently support pupils in their pastoral development under the guidance of the Leadership Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to engage positively with pupils, parents and staff to embed school values and attitudes and promote high standards of behaviour and achievement. The role of the Pastoral Manager also extends to supporting tutors in their vision to create a year group in which pupils feel happy and safe.
You will be working directly with pupils and will be required to process data through established systems (e.g. CPOMS) and procedures and input information into schools MIS system (Arbor) accurately and in a timely manner. You will provide reports for all stakeholders including the Senior Leadership team, teachers and heads of department.
You have experience of working with secondary age students and you can also demonstrate substantial experience of leading and managing people in multi-disciplinary teams. You hold a GCSE English & Maths grade C or above (or equivalent qualification).
