SCHOOL: Secondary School

PAY: £120 - £128 a day

CONTRACT: Full Time & Long Term (View to go permanent after 12 weeks)

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday

START DATE: ASAP

LOCATION: Haringey

We are seeking a Pastoral Manager to join our Secondary School. We are looking for an individual to join us on a Full Time and Long Term basis, starting ASAP. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to young people and the ability to liaise and communicate with outside agencies. This role has a specific focus on the administrative duties within the pastoral department, focusing on attendance, pupil welfare, behaviour and punctuality.

  • Pastoral Mentor
  • Working in a Secondary School
  • Working across KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Supporting pupils and the pastoral team
  • Managing the admin side of the pastoral department
  • Providing administrative and organisational support to the school
  • Processing information in connection to attendance, welfare, behaviour and communication
  • Managing record keeping systems, databases and processes

  • £120 - £128 per day

Person Specification

  • Good academics
  • Previous experience working with children & young people
  • Ability to build a good rapport with young people
  • IT skills & computer literacy skills
  • Previous admin experience is desirable
  • A passion to work within an educational environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Working constructively as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
