POSITION: Pastoral Manager
SCHOOL: Secondary School
PAY: £120 - £128 a day
CONTRACT: Full Time & Long Term (View to go permanent after 12 weeks)
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday

LOCATION: Haringey
We are seeking a Pastoral Manager to join our Secondary School. We are looking for an individual to join us on a Full Time and Long Term basis, starting ASAP. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to young people and the ability to liaise and communicate with outside agencies. This role has a specific focus on the administrative duties within the pastoral department, focusing on attendance, pupil welfare, behaviour and punctuality.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Pastoral Mentor
- Working in a Secondary School
- Working across KS3, KS4 & KS5
- Supporting pupils and the pastoral team
- Managing the admin side of the pastoral department
- Providing administrative and organisational support to the school
- Processing information in connection to attendance, welfare, behaviour and communication
- Managing record keeping systems, databases and processes
- Long Term & Full Time
- ASAP start
- £120 - £128 per day
- Located in the Borough of Haringey
Person Specification
- Good academics
- Previous experience working with children & young people
- Ability to build a good rapport with young people
- IT skills & computer literacy skills
- Previous admin experience is desirable
- A passion to work within an educational environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills
- Working constructively as part of a team
- Attention to detail
