We are looking for full-time interim pastoral support assistants to join our team until permanent appointments are made. This is a temporary role, located in Hackney, with an immediate start. A valid DBS is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pastoral care to students, focusing on their social, emotional, and mental well-being.
- Assist students in resolving issues affecting their learning and development.
- Liaise with parents, carers, staff, and teachers, attending meetings and sharing strategies.
- Support attendance processes, monitor student attendance, and ensure students arrive on site.
- Collaborate with external agencies and the safeguarding team, maintaining accurate logs and updates.
- Build strong relationships between the school, students, and their families.
- Offer information and advice to students regarding behavior, attendance, and learning choices.
- Support pupils with special needs and provide clerical assistance as needed.
Contract Positions
