At Ribbons & Reeves, we are currently seeking a Pastoral Support Assistant for a secondary school in Wandsworth, where you’ll play a key role in supporting the well-being and personal development of students. Pastoral Support Assistant | About the Role:
  • £475-500 per week | Paid weekly via PAYE | Inclusive of Holiday Pay
  • Full time to term-time only
  • Providing emotional and pastoral support to students, helping them to manage any challenges they may face
  • Supporting students’ social and emotional well-being, particularly those at risk of underachieving or disengaging
  • Acting as a mentor and guide, assisting students with behavioural issues, conflict resolution, and personal development
  • Collaborating with the pastoral team, SENDCo, and teaching staff to develop and implement support strategies for students
  • Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where students can thrive
 
Pastoral Support Assistant | What You Need:
  • A First-Class Degree (or equivalent experience) with a passion for supporting young people
  • Previous experience working in a pastoral, educational, or supportive role is highly desirable, but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic attitude, with a desire to make a difference in students’ lives
  • A proactive and resilient individual who can work effectively as part of a team
  • A genuine commitment to improving students’ emotional and social well-being
