Pastoral Support Assistant
  • Full-time role in a supportive Secondary School in Hammersmith & Fulham
  • Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 with pastoral and behavioural needs
  • Starting January 2025, running until July 2025 in the first instance

Key responsibilities:
  • Providing 1:1 and group mentoring to students with pastoral or behavioural challenges.
  • Assisting with the implementation of behaviour and attendance strategies.
  • Supporting students’ emotional and social development, fostering resilience and confidence.
  • Working closely with the Pastoral Lead and teaching staff to maintain a safe and inclusive school environment.
To be considered, you must:
  • Hold a degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or a related field (2:1 or above preferred).
  • Be passionate about working with young people and supporting their personal development.
  • Have excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to handle challenging situations.
