Location: Kennington, London (hybrid 1-2 days in the office)

If so, our client, an independent statutory body established by Parliament is seeking a dedicated and skilled Legal Administrator/Caseworker to join their team

In this role you will be responsible for working alongside an experienced Investigator and supporting them with a variety of administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with complainants and gathering information for the Investigator
  • Responding to enquiries, escalating as appropriate
  • Ensuring hardcopy / electronic filings systems are updated
  • Drafting correspondence for the Investigators
  • Providing efficient and timely administrative support for Investigating Committee Meetings; preparing and sending IC bundles, sending Microsoft Teams links, attending to their requirements of the committee member
  • Gather evidence, including taking witness statements, instructing Counsel and Expert Opinion, and arranging further investigation work
  • Actively manage cases and keep the Investigations Manager informed of developments

Requirements:

  • Ideally previous experience within a Legal/Regulated environment or as a Caseworker
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Excellent oral communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Sound judgement and decision-making abilities
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for projects
