- Provide proactive support to lawyers by establishing and maintaining efficient filing systems that align with best practices in case management, adhere to professional standards, and ensure solicitors can quickly access information in the correct format.
- Draft and produce complex, highly accurate legal documents, including long-form contracts, reports, and instructions to Counsel, to facilitate the legal team’s objectives efficiently and professionally.
- Prepare general legal correspondence, applying a broad understanding of legal principles, practices, and procedures.
- Assist with case research, gather and organize necessary documents, and submit paperwork as required to internal clients and external advisers.
- Coordinate events and meetings, handling venue bookings, travel, and accommodation to optimize lawyers’ time.
- Manage complex schedules, ensuring lawyers are aware of deadlines and that external advisors are kept informed of relevant developments to provide effective support.
- Serve as the primary contact for external parties, including Counsel and law firms, managing sensitive and confidential matters promptly and professionally.
- Regularly interact with senior internal and external stakeholders, screening and prioritizing all incoming communications.
- Perform additional duties as needed, such as processing invoices, raising purchase orders, and handling expense claims, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
