My client, a highly-regarded law firm, are seeking to recruit an experienced Property Legal Secretary or Assistant who is diligent, self-motivated and a fast learner. The successful candidate will be working along aside one of our dedicated Property teams and will have experience in managing the administration and secretarial duties associated with commercial property and property finance, such as loan docs using precedents, drafting invoices, organising payments, exchanges and completions. The role will also involve general support to the fee earners including some post completion work involving both land registry and companies house. The successful candidate will be working directly with Partners and other qualified staff. They will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ general property experience or 1 year in a similar real estate finance role. They will be able to hit the ground running with variety of duties. Client care is a priority of my client, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate when they have gone over and above to provide a top-quality service.

Essential skills

· Experience working as a Legal Secretary or Assistant in general Property or Real Estate finance

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.

· Be able to demonstrate confidence and self-motivation.

· Able to work to strict deadlines and in a pressurised environment.

· Attention to detail is essential.

· IT literate.

· Be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and to progress.
