They provide top-tier service in various legal domains, including corporate transactions, litigation, intellectual property, and restructuring. The firm represents a diverse range of clients from financial investors to private equity firms to multinational corporations. The firm fosters a culture of collaboration, entrepreneurialism, and ethical practice which has helped build long-term client relationships.

Role Overview: They are seeking a legal secretary who plays a crucial role in supporting lawyers and legal teams by handling various administrative and organizational tasks. The ideal candidate will have secretarial experience, be able to transcribe legal documents, prioritise tasks and proofread.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and maintains calendar and deadline reminder systems.
  • Organises and prioritises telephone calls, mail, documents and projects.
  • Deal with incoming/outgoing mail as appropriate.
  • Schedules and organises activities such as meetings, conferences, and departmental activities.
  • Books travel/accommodation arrangements, prepares itineraries and follows up on travel expenses to process for payment.
  • Maintains e-filing and management
  • Opens new files, maintains all client and general files. Conducts periodic review for possible storage of older files; prepares files to be closed.
  • Updates client contacts regularly using Client Relationship Management system (CRM).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years secretarial experience working within a law firm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident with IT
  • Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
