Legal Secretary - Intellectual Property / Tech£40,000 < £45,000PermanentHybridCrone Corkill is working on a rare opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join the intellectual property & technology division of a national law firm in their London office.Renowned for their modern tailored service to global clientele within the Commercial & Tech sector, this team boasts a flat hierarchy, collaborative working environment, market-leading benefits, and progression pathways for support staff.You will offer integral support to two Partners and a team of fee earners across the below duties:

  • Complex diary and travel management
  • Proactive document creation and management
  • Managing organisation of client files on database
  • Liaising with high profile client over email and phone
  • Onboarding new clients, and responding to their queries
  • Overflow support to the wider PA and Front Office team during busy periods
  • Assisting with Business Development activities such as pitches and presentations
  • Complex billing through Aderant alongside multiple other digital billing platforms with varying deadlines

This is not a traditional Legal Secretary position. You will have multiple opportunities to develop your knowledge in the sector by working collaboratively with the wider Legal Team and are expected to be proactive & passionate in your work.About You

  • 4 years + of Legal Secretary position
  • Previous experience working in a small to medium size firm
  • A proactive curious nature, always thinking ahead to account for last-minute changes
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in Intellectual Property or a similar sector is essential
