An exciting new role has arisen within a boutique Mayfair based residential property firm. The firm focusses on residential property matters for HNW investors who are looking for Prime and Super Prime transactions with a value in excess of £3million.As Legal Secretary with experience in the property legal sector you will need to have at least 5 years’ property experience with a working knowledge of KYC/AML compliance requirements and procedures. The team handles very high value purchases/sales and a good level of working know-how and knowledge of a property transaction is essential. As Legal Secretary you will be responsible for :- file/matter opening (including drafting the requisite AML forms) - undertaking AML searches - dealing with the firm’s onboarding process - audio typing - having direct client/introducer contact from time to time - carrying out searches - answering telephone - liaising with the land registry - independently drafting basic emails, letters and boiler-plate documents - administration work – keeping document management system up to date and in good order - undertaking typical pre and post completion tasks to include SDLT returns, Land Registry applications, dealing with notices of assignment/charge The ideal candidate will probably come from a boutique property law firm but if not will have to have 'small company mentality' as you are part of a dynamic hands on team where everyone works collaboratively across the business. You will also have to have excellent organisational skills and bags of initiative and be well presented and able to think outside the box. You will liaise with HNW and UHNW clients so you will need to enjoy a client facing role and a business that moves a pace to meet the demands of its clientele.Salary £40,000 to £50,000 (depending on experience)In office with 1 day from homePensionHoliday
