We have a great opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary / Legal PA to join a successful law firm in the City of London on a permanent, full time basis.

The Legal Secretary will provide a high level of support to allocated Partners and Associates, will be the first point of contact for the designated practice areas, will produce legal documentation and correspondence and will undertake admin duties on behalf of their team.

We’re looking for an experienced Legal Secretary / PA who is highly organised, proactive, meticulous and a confident communicator.

Key responsibilities as the Legal Secretary will include:

  • First point of contact for clients and colleagues
  • Providing first class support to allocated Partners and Associates
  • Coordinating billing / credit control and accounting matters, including drafting bill requests and bill narratives
  • Organising internal and external meetings
  • Assisting the marketing team with marketing activities including seminars and events
  • Accurately producing legal documentation and correspondence
  • File and matter management
  • General administrative support

What we’re looking for:

  • Legal Secretary / Legal PA experience with a good understanding of how law firms operate
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with an ability to communicate professionally and naturally at all levels
  • Impeccable organisation and attention to detail
  • IT literate including MS Office 365 (essential) and database management
  • Fast, accurate typing skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, proactive, creative and enthusiastic team player
  • Flexible and co-operative nature
